2/10 UPDATE**
Inspired by reading how Ben Casanocha handled his college process, and the ideas of being a life entrepreneur promulgated by his insightful book, I'm detailing here my vision for the upcoming semester:
Classes:
ECON 402 Macroeconomics
ECON 404 Statistics
PHIL 366 Political Philosophy
ENGR 520 Business Basics for Engineers (I am no engineer--but I'll take the business basics!)
ENGR 409 Entrepreneurship
Personal Development: I am the director of external and internal affairs for the Michigan Political Union (MPU), I will have a column at the Michigan Daily, and I'll try to update this here blog a couple times a week. These will be platforms to improve as a writer, speaker, and a thinker. I will expose myself to bulk randomness, taking advantage of the numerous intellectual resources that this university and town offers.
Information Diet: I will be reading lots of philosophy, ingesting lots of economics (I just ordered The Economist (!)) and reading plenty otherwise. Pass on recommendations.
Music: We will continue Chaser experience. I've joined The Cypher and will do plenty of freestyling.
Body: Swimming 4x a week.
Big Project: Inspired by Cal Newport's theory (have a grand project), I'm working on something with M-Powered. It'll be public soon...
